Colorful Shade-Loving Caladiums Florida Sweetheart

A darling for mixed container plantings, Caladium Florida Sweetheart features bright pink leaves that fade to white with dark pink veining and green edging. This showy foliage plant with its colorful, heart-shaped leaves is sure to draw the attention of garden visitors. Colorful, shade-loving caladiums are ideal for container plantings, window boxes and the fronts of perennial borders. Because they are tender plants that don't handle the cold, many gardeners plant them in pots indoors and then move them outdoors after the danger of spring frost has passed. They also add color and charm to a conservatory or warm sun porch during winter.  If not in zones 10-11, dig before frost, dry and store the bulbs in a warm, dry frost-free place.
