Double Daffodil Popeye

Gardeners are taking notice of this recent introduction. The large, 4.5", sweetly scented flowers have single layers of white petals surrounded by tight, fully double trumpets filled with layer after layer of yellow petals highlighted with occasional white petals. It's perfect for planting in borders, flower beds and en masse. This narcissus can also be planted in containers. Like other daffodils, it's easy to grow, deer resistant and makes a showy cut flower. Popeye Double Daffodil perennializes well when fertilized or grown in a rich garden loam. Plant the daffodil bulbs in full sun to partial shade. Grows 12-18" tall and blooms in early to mid spring.
